Call For Papers

Dear Colleague,



We would like to invite you to contribute to the “Digital twins for accelerated discovery of climate and sustainability solutions” workshop, part of IEEE Big Data Conference, which will be held on December 17-20, 2022 in Osaka, Japan. We solicit your original research contributions (and significant work-in-progress papers) in any aspect of Digital Twins. Please submit a position (2 pages), extended abstract (4 pages), or full-length (up to 8 pages) paper (IEEE 2-column format).

We invite submissions including but not limited to the following topics:

§ Building digital twins by digitizing physical product and processes

§ Predictive AI model design and development

§ Real time data integrity, quality, and reliability check using AI modeling

§ Massive data fusion from heterogeneous sources and processing technologies

§ Object recognition / detection for integration in digital twin architecture

§ Emerging technologies in remote sensing and mapping and integration in Earth weather, climate models

The conference adopts single-blind review policy. We expect to have a very high quality and exciting technical program at Osaka.

§ Oct 30, 2022: Due date for full workshop papers submission

§ Nov 15, 2022: Notification of paper acceptance to authors

§ Nov 20, 2022: Camera-ready of accepted papers

§ Dec 17-20, 2022: Workshops

Paper submission
Please submit your article through the online submission system. All papers accepted for this workshop will be included in the Workshop Proceedings published by the IEEE Computer Society Press. Each submission will be peer reviewed by 3 Technical Community members. Papers should be formatted to IEEE Computer Society Proceedings Manuscript Formatting Guidelines. Templates can be download below:
