Linked to the main topics of the WSED23, the young energy researchers conference has 2 tracks, one for energy efficiency and one for biomass.
The 2 best contributions are honoured with the awards "Best Young Energy Efficiency Researcher" and "Best Young Biomass Researcher". The researchers receive 1,000 Euro each as prize money.
Young researchers and professionals (born after 1987) are invited to submit contributions. Submissions (in English only) are welcome from all scientific fields (e.g. technology, engineering, economics, social sciences, architecture, law, arts). A high-level scientific committee selects papers for oral and poster presentations. The costs of accommodation, meals, participation and local transport (4 conference days) for up to 60 selected participants are covered by the organiser.
