41st Annual National Wellness Conference Call for Proposals
Ensuring sustainable change is not a solo act. It’s imperative we use our collective impact to guide our clients, employees, and others with whom we interact in discovering their own path to wellness, ensuring that it is both attainable and sustainable. As we usher in a new era of wellness—one that shines the light on true whole-person wellness—we must come together to learn from one another’s successes and challenges. The National Wellness Institute (NWI) invites professionals from all walks of wellness to submit breakout session proposals for its 41st Annual National Wellness Conference (NWC), to be held June 27-29, 2016, at the Saint Paul RiverCentre in St. Paul, Minnesota. Wellness professionals are encouraged to share their best and promising practices and evidence-based methods for establishing and sustaining a culture of wellness in our workplaces, homes, and the world around us to enhance health and well-being for ourselves and future generations. Proposals highlighting the 2016 Conference theme, “Spotlight on Sustainability: Setting the Stage for a Lifetime of Wellness,” are especially encouraged, as are highly interactive and experiential sessions. All proposals are peer-reviewed and must be submitted through the online submission form at http://www.nationalwellness.org/NWCProposals by October 1, 2015. The NWC is a one-of-a-kind event where wellness professionals from a myriad of settings (e.g., worksites, community and public health organizations, healthcare facilities, educational programs, faith communities) can participate in research-based and best-practices learning opportunities and intensive skill-building programs, develop networking communities, engage in wellness activities for personal growth and renewal, and experience a wellness immersion unlike any other. For complete details regarding proposal requirements, session track descriptions, presenter benefits, and more, see the NWC 2016 Proposal Submission Guidelines on http://www.nationalwellness.org/NWCProposals. |
