Call For Papers

You are invited to present research at Picteilín 2014, a Creative Media research conference at DkIT on November 3rd 2014.

Conference Theme: Creative Media and Games Studies: Developing Design, Play and Storytelling

Contributions are sought under the following themes:
1. Creative Media Content Creation and Technologies
2. Creative Pedagogy and Transformative work practices
3. Media, Culture, Community and Society
4. New Media Narrative Forms
5. Game Studies

It is envisioned that there will be short and long academic research papers, practical exhibition installations, poster sessions, games and screenings.

We invite proposal abstracts to a maximum of 350 words, which may be accompanied by supporting visual material. Send them to info@picteilin.com

Deadline for Abstracts: Monday, September 15th, 2014.

Postgraduate students, academics and practitioners who are not presenting at the conference are also encouraged to attend this event.
