26th IEEE International Symposium on Software Reliability Engineering (IEEE ISSRE 2015)
Washington DC, Nov. 2-5, 2015 http://issre.net -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------—- 1) CALL FOR RESEARCH PAPERS ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ISSRE has grown over the years to become a leading conference in the areas of assessing, predicting, and improving reliability, safety, and security of software and software-controlled systems. The ISSRE 2015 organizing Committee invites your contribution and participation to the 26th Edition, to be held in Washington DC, from Nov 2 to 5, 2015. Research papers are extensively reviewed by a expert program committee members and the selected papers are coveted. ISSRE 2015 is soliciting original, unpublished research papers in three categories: (1) full research papers (2) practical experience reports and (3) Wild & provocative (WAP) ideas papers. While full research manuscripts explore a specific technology problem and propose a complete solution to it, with extensive experimental results, practical experience reports are expected to provide an in-depth exposition of practitioner experiences and empirical studies. WAP papers are expected to present either work currently in progress or less developed but highly innovative ideas related to areas relevant to ISSRE, aiming at inspiring discussion among conference attendees and getting people thinking about open research challenges. Manuscript page lengths (all in double column, IEEE conference style format): * Research papers: 10 pages + 2 pages (for references and appendices) * Experience reports: 10 pages + 2 pages (for references and appendices) * WAP papers: 6 pages. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * Reliability, availability, and safety of software systems * Verification and validation * Software quality * Software security * Dependability, fault tolerance, survivability, and resilience of software systems * Systems (hardware + software) reliability engineering * Services reliability engineering (cloud services, problem reporting services) * Engineering reliable adaptive, self-aware and self-* systems Submissions will be judged on originality, significance, correctness and impact. Authors will have a chance to rebut the reviews within 800 words over the period of July 27th-29th. Important Dates: Abstract Submission (mandatory): May 28, 2015 Research Paper Submission: Jun 7, 2015 Rebuttal Period: July 27th - 29th, 2015 Notification: August 7, 2015 Camera Ready: September 4, 2015 Please visit http://issre.net for instructions on the submission of research papers. 2) CALL FOR WORKSHOP PROPOSAL ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Workshops at ISSRE provide forums for interaction and information sharing between researchers and industrial practitioners. We invite workshop proposals on topics related to any area of interest to the ISSRE community. Workshops can follow different formats, ranging from traditional peer reviewed papers to sessions that seek solutions to specific challenging problems. Proposal: May 8, 2015 Notification: May 22, 2015 Paper Submission: August 14, 2015 Paper Notification: September 4, 2015 Camera Ready: September 15, 2015 All accepted peer reviewed papers will appear in the IEEE Xplore.
