Introduction
China & Singapore International Conference on Port and Ocean Engineering has been successfully held twice in Shanghai and Singapore under the cooperative framework of China, Singapore and Norway. Shanghai Maritime University intends to hold the 3rd China & Singapore International Conference on Port and Ocean Engineering from Oct. 24th 2014 to Oct. 26th 2014, which will engage in academics and engineering with the theme of the development of container port in Industrie 4.0, aiming at the exchange of scientific and engineering experiences in the aspects of next generation of container ports.
This conference is hosted by Shanghai Maritime University, co-organized by China Federation of Logistics Purchasing, National University of Singapore, Tongji University, Wuhan University of Technology, Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Co., Ltd., Siemens (China) Co., Ltd., Tianjin Port (Group) Co., Ltd., International Association of Management Science and Engineering Technology.
The opening of The 3rd China & Singapore International Conference on Port and Ocean Engineering is significant to guide academics and engineering in strengthening the exchanges and cooperation with experts all over the world, exploring the direction and solution of port industry in Industrie 4.0, communicating in relevant technology, enhancing our service level in port and logistics industry and widening the international perspective.
