It is our great pleasure to invite you to participate in the 4th International Conference on BUSINESS SUSTAINABILITY, 2014 – Management, Technology and Learning for Individuals, Organisations and Society in Turbulent Environments, BS’14, to be held in Póvoa de Varzim, Portugal, from 5 to 7 November, 2014.
BS’14 is promoted by 2100 Projects Association – Scientific Association for Promotion of Technology and Management for Organizational and Social Transformative Change. The overall objectives of the conference are to advance the theory and practice of Business Sustainability, implementation and promotion of practices in companies towards sustainability across multiple dimensions on all organisational levels, from strategic management to operational levels, in every type of business and for every company’s function. To bridge the gaps between theory and practice, between academia and companies, between abstract and real worlds, and to bring people in the centre, as a critical success factor towards business sustainability. To provide an innovative environment to Conference participants through new type of conference sessions (see details here!) for their PROACTIVE GENERATIVE COLLABORATIVE LEARNING which is the main Conference meta-objective, and its innovative offer. A shortlist of intended topics include: sustainability – economic, environmental and societal, business models, networked economy, knowledge economy, leadership and governance, learning organization, meta-organizations, production economics, research & development, society, strategic management, integration, design, traditional and radical management, collaborativeness, organisational semiotics, chaos and complexity management, cloud organisations and business, and other emergent business sustainability issues in various application domains, such as manufacturing, commerce, public sector, transport, agriculture, healthcare, banking, education, services, and others, in the context of business sustainability, management, technology and learning for individuals, organisations and society in turbulent environments. All accepted full papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings which will be published by 2100 Projects in a newly created book series with ISSN, which will be submitted for indexing in relevant indexes. Authors of a selection of papers will be invited to extend their papers for publication in selected international scientific peer-reviewed journals (list of the journals will be announced soon).
