[Apologies for cross posting]
The Program Committees of the 2015 IEEE/WIC/ACM International Conference on Web Intelligence (WI'15) and 2015 IEEE/WIC/ACM International Conference on Intelligent Agent Technology (IAT'15) invite submissions for Demos and Posters. The goal of the Demo/Poster session is to provide opportunities for participants from academia and/or industry to present and demonstrate their new and innovative research work and/or their latest developments in the areas of WI-AIT'15. It gives conference participants a forum where they can learn about novel on-going research projects that might not yet be complete, but whose preliminary results are already in an interesting phase. It also provides demo/poster presenters with an excellent opportunity to receive invaluable feedback from knowledgeable sources as well as chance to interact with industry people that have similar fields of research. The Demo/Poster Committee members of WI-IAT'15 will peer review the submissions based on originality, significance, quality, and clarity. Authors should consult the main Call for papers of the conference for the topics. Accepted demo/poster papers will be allocated 2 pages in the conference proceedings. In addition to the 2-page submission, accepted demo/poster authors will be asked to generate a poster and/or demonstration to be displayed in a dedicated demo/poster area and presented during the demo/poster session at the conference. The organizers will make every effort to facilitate demo requirements. If you have unusual requirements please contact the organizers in advance. At a minimum, we will provide a poster board, a monitor, and a table for each demonstration. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS Complete demo/demo manuscripts must be electronically submitted through the WI-IAT15's cyber chair system accessed from the conference website. Manuscripts should be at most two (2) pages in IEEE two-column format, including figures, tables, and references. Authors must use the IEEE manuscript templates to prepare their manuscript. Submission MUST be in PDF format. In addition, for demo submission: 1. The paper should describe the application domain, the problem scenario, the technology used, the original contribution and innovations of the system, its live and interactive aspects, etc. 2. A list of requirements/description of demo setting. This list should be attached to the paper, in a separate page. 3. The paper must contain a URL linking to a demonstration video no more than 5 minutes in length (e.g. YouTube) or a Powerpoint presentation showing and explaining what happens in the demo. Other formats are also possible if they can more clearly illustrate the demo. The objective is to give a precise idea, in 5 minutes, of what the demo will look like. At least one author of each accepted demo/poster is required to register and to attend the conference to give the presentation. A Best Demo Award and a Best Poster Award will be awarded to recognize high quality demo and poster respectively.
