CALL FOR CHAPTERS
Your chapter will be considered in an edited book on "Evolutionary Learning and Optimization in Civil Engineering" which will be published by CRC Press in 2022. The editors are: Prof. Pijush Samui, National Institute of Technology Patna Prof. Abidhan Bardhan, National Institute of Technology Patna Prof. Wengang Zhang, Chongqing University Prof. Amir H. Gandomi, University of Technology Sydney We look for chapters in the following Scopes: Section 1: Fundamental and Comprehensive review. Area/ Scope: Fundamental and Comprehensive review of meta-heuristic algorithms, use of meta-heuristics in different fields of engineering and sciences. Section 2: Application of ML and swarm intelligence techniques. Area/ Scope: Application of machine learning algorithms and swarm intelligence algorithms for solving different civil engineering problems such as slope stability analysis, filter media design, truss problems, etc. Section 3: Application of ML and evolutionary computational techniques. Area/ Scope: Application of machine learning algorithms and evolutionary algorithms for solving different civil engineering problems such as slope stability analysis, filter media design, truss problems, etc. Section 4: Standard to Advanced version of meta-heuristic algorithms Area/ Scope: Application of enhanced version of standard meta-heuristic such as Augmented GWO vs. standard GWO, Enhanced GBO vs. standard GBO, etc. Application of hybrid meta-heuristic, such as hybrid PSO and GA, hybrid Slime mould algorithm and whale optimization algorithm, hybrid GWO and PSO. A new hybrid algorithm must be proposed. Section 5: Advanced Application of swarm and evolutionary computation. Area/ Scope: Use of enhanced/modified version of meta-heuristic algorithms for solving different problems related to civil engineering structures/problems and comparative studies of different groups of meta-heuristics. Section 6: Advanced Application of swarm intelligence techniques. Area/ Scope: Use of enhanced/modified version of meta-heuristic algorithms for solving different problems related to civil engineering structures. Section 7: Advanced Application of evolutionary computational techniques Area/ Scope: Use of enhanced/modified version of meta-heuristic algorithms for solving different problems related to civil engineering structures. Section 8: Research proposal in swarm and evolutionary computation Area/ Scope: Chapters should focus on how researchers can write proposals on swarm and evolutionary computations for their project work. Section 9: Future application. Area/ Scope: Current trends and future perspective of meta-heuristic algorithms in the field of engineering and sciences. In order to strengthen the overall quality of this important publication, we are in the process of inviting well-known researchers in this field from all around the world. If this invitation is suitable for you and does not conflict with your current professional and research interests, please first kindly submit a tentative title of the chapter along with a short abstract in the form below by May 31, 2022. And then submit your full chapter not later than September 30, 2022. |
