Scope
The 1st ACM International Conference on Embedded Systems for Energy-Efficient Buildings (BuildSys 2014) invites submissions of original papers on innovation in embedded building systems delivering efficiency, operation and performance. Over the past five years, BuildSys has established itself as the premier workshop for researchers, developers, and practitioners across interdisciplinary fields to present research results and exchange ideas in all information-driven aspects of building energy. 2014 marks the first year for BuildSys as a full ACM conference. BuildSys will include regular and notes papers, together with demos and posters. The conference will be held in Memphis, TN, co-located with ACM SenSys.

Technical Program

Posters

BuildSys 2014 includes a Poster Session providing a great forum to share your early stage work to the broader audience by means of posters presented during an exciting joint demo and poster session. Posters will describe problems of interest, highlight new ideas, and present initial results.

Demos

BuidSys 2014 also includes a Demo Session, providing innovative research prototypes, platforms and applications, providing a great forum to share experiences and showcase work to a broad audience. Demos this year include fault detection and diagnostics, NILM and user interaction.
