DEADLINE EXTENSION: NOVEMBER 29, 2015
The objective of the QCAV 2015 conference is to provide a forum for researchers, engineers, suppliers and users of vision systems to present and discuss the state-of-the-art in machine and computer vision and image processing techniques, with an emphasis on quality control. The conference will also offer an opportunity to fill the gap between artificial vision and image processing community and people working in application fields. The presentations will include contributed papers, poster sessions and invited speakers for state-of the-art or key-note talks in specialized subjects related to the conference topics. Papers describing original work concerning the theoretical and experimental aspects of image processing are invited. The International Scientific Committee invites authors to submit original unpublished paper proposals. Main tracks The conference will be organized in three main Tracks as follows: T1 : Non Conventional Imaging Systems Track Chair : Assoc. Prof C. Stolz (University of Burgundy) Keynote : Prof F. Goudail, "Advances in polarimetric imaging for detection and control" T2 : Machine Vision and Image processing Track Chair : Prof. Kurt Niel (Austria) Keynote : Prof. J. Chanussot, IEEE Fellow, “Hyperspectral image processing: challenges and opportunities” T3 : Computer Aided Diagnosis Track Chair : Prof. Henning Muller (HSO-Valais, Switzeland) Keynote : Prof M. Trucco, "Retinal image analysis: the VAMPIRE project" Topics Papers are solicited from, but not limited to, the following categories: Vision Sensor Development and Integration Optical, Electron, X-ray, Ultrasound and Other Non Conventional Imaging Modalities Non-destructive Testing and Metrology Image Processing, Transforms, Segmentation, and Pattern Recognition Image Data Management, Analysis, and Interpretation Process Automation, Characterization, and Control Remote Diagnostics Computer Aided Diagnosis Medical imaging analysis There are many industries that are benefiting from artificial vision today.
