Call For Papers

Australasian Computer Science Week (ACSW) represents the largest annual gathering of computing educators and researchers in Australasia. The aim for 2015 is to build upon the existing strengths of the event, to re‐emphasise its community building focus and provide a stronger community of practice for computing discipline leaders, researchers, educators and industry leaders in the region. This year’s highlight is the industry-research nexus. ACSW is a multi‐conference event with a collection of ten different conferences, workshops and a doctoral consortium.

ACSW 2015 is expected to include:
• Asia-Pacific Conference on Conceptual Modelling (APCCM)
• Australasian Computer Science Conference (ACSC)
• Australasian Computing Education Conference (ACE)
• Australasian Information Security Conference (AISC)
• Australasian Symposium on Parallel and Distributed Computing (AusPDC)
• Australasian User Interface Conference (AUIC)
• Australasian Women in Computing Conference (AWIC)
• Australasian Workshop on Health Informatics and Knowledge Management (HIKM)
• Australian Web Conference (AWC)
• Interactive Entertainment (IE)

The Australasian Computer Science Week (ACSW2015) Conferences and workshops aim at supporting educators, researchers and the industry in the region and gathering high‐quality contributions to the several computing research sub‐disciplines. The main conference site is hosted at acsw2015.acsw.org.au.

The papers must not exceed 10 pages for full papers or 4 pages for short papers. The templates can be downloaded from CRPIT. Other details of topics, reviewing and submission processes for particular conferences can be found at each conference website.

All submissions must be original work, not previously published elsewhere, and not currently submitted to any other conference or journal. Submission of a paper should be regarded as an undertaking that, should the paper be accepted, at least one of the authors will attend the conference to present the work.

As with previous years, registration for ACSW will enable delegates to attend sessions in any conference participating in the Australasian Computer Science Week. The proceedings of this event will be published by the Australian Computer Society (ACS) in the CRPIT Series, with selected proceedings also appearing in the ACM Digital Library.
