Session Co-Chairs:
Dr. Dalila Tayachi Session description: This special session deals with the Vehicle Routing Problem under environmental concerns. It is known that the transportation sector is one of the largest energy consumer sectors and thus a big transmitter of carbon and greenhouse gas, causing dangerous environmental effects. In the last decades, many efforts were made to reduce these environmental threats. In this regard, the Green vehicle routing problem (GVRP) has emerged to optimize distribution strategies taking into account both economic costs and the environmental effects. The goal of this special session is to discuss models and techniques for optimizing Green Vehicle routing problems by minimizing fuel consumption, carbon dioxide (co2) emissions and operational costs, while respecting capacity constraints. It also aims to provide some real cases applications. The topics of interest include, but are not limited to: Heuristics and Metaheuristics for Green vehicle routing problem Optimization techniques for Green logistic Real world cases in optimizing vehicle routing problem Multiobjective vehicle routing problem Optimizing Electric vehicle routing problem New models for Green vehicle routing problem ... |
