Data mining is often used by governments, companies or even individuals to discover hidden information from large amount of data. The information is then summarized in ways that are understandable and useful to them. This special session provides a platform for exchanging ideas of data mining and invites researchers from universities as well as experts from various industries to contribute advances to the data mining community.

Authors are invited to submit their original and unpublished articles to this special sessions. The topics of interests include but are not limited to:

*Data Ming applications/frameworks
*Cybersecurity, intrusion/fraud detection and prevention
*Internet applications and social networks
*Document analysis and content/information retrieval

*Bioinformatics

Paper Submission
*All manuscripts submitted should be prepared according to the Springer conference paper templates. The length of the manuscripts prepared with the given template should be between 8 to 12 pages.

*All accepted and presented papers will be included in the proceedings of CIIS 2016 which will be published by Springer in the Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing book series (ISSN: 2194-5357 , Indexed by ISI Proceedings, EI-Compendex, DBLP, SCOPUS, Google Scholar and Springerlink).

Post-Conference Journals
