Call For Papers

The main focus of the workshop is to bring out and highlight new theoretical or practical ideas and solutions on autonomous monitoring systems. We are interested in solutions that merge the design and the implementation of collaborative networking and sensing systems which are able to adapt devices to topology changes and to specific environments.

The topics of interest include but are not limited to:

Sensor network systems design
Distributed sensing
RFIDs, sensors and actuators
Cyber-physical systems
Crowd sensing
Heterogeneous monitoring systems
Reliable communications in monitoring environments
Controlled mobility
Energy efficient solutions
Robot networks (e.g. UAVs, drones etc.)
Programmability of monitoring systems
Real-time monitoring applications
Opportunistic spectrum access for environment monitoring applications
Security issues in monitoring environments
