Call For Papers

Special Session on Special Session on Software and Model Metrics and Measurements (SMMM 2019) is part of the 25th International Conference on Information and Software Technologies (ICIST 2019), October 10-12, 2019, Vilnius, Lithuania

SCOPE

The special session addresses all aspects related to empirical measurements and metrics for evaluation and estimation of quality, maintainability, usability, reusability, variability, adaptability, reliability, understandability, complexity, cost, performance and other properties and attributes of software artefacts at all levels of abstraction (program, component, interface, model, architecture, framework, repository).

TOPICS

Include, but are not limited to:
• process and product metrics for variability-intensive systems
• metrics for variability-intensive systems
• complexity of UML diagrams and feature models
• evaluation of software and model quality
• evaluation and comparison of programming and modelling languages
• Mining of software repositories
• Modelling, measuring, and assessing product and/or process quality
• Prediction of software defects
• Software maintenance metrics and tools
• software and model metrics
• evaluation of program comprehension and understandability
• evaluation of software properties and attributes
• Statistical and information theory methods for software measurement
• Novel methods and tools for supporting software measurements
• Empirical studies on software evolution
• Deep learning and data analytics for software measurement

SUBMISSION OF PAPERS

Authors are invited to submit their papers in English through the conference submission system. Submissions must be original and should not have been published previously. All papers will be peer-reviewed by the ICIST 2019 Program Committee and judged with respect to their quality, originality, and relevance. For further details, please consult the conference web pages.

PUBLICATION

All accepted papers will appear in the ICIST Conference Proceedings (published by Springer as a part of CCIS series) and submitted for indexing to Clarivate Analytics WoS. Selected authors of best papers will be also invited to submit extended versions of their papers to Information Technology and Control journal (ISSN 1392-124X; Clarivate Analytics WoS Impact factor 0.800 (2017))
