Special Session on SMART E-LEARNING TECHNOLOGIES AND APPLICATIONS (ELA 2016) is part of the 22nd International Conference on Information and Software Technologies (ICIST 2016)
October 13-15, 2016, Druskininkai, Lithuania

SCOPE
Special Session on e-Learning Technologies and Applications (ELA 2016) covers all IT related technical aspects of eLearning environments and systems. The session aims at bringing together researchers who are interested in the intersection area between the technological point of view and the student-centered view of information technologies for e-Learning. We invite you to submit a broad range of contributions related to the latest achievements and research in smart e-learning.

TOPICS
Topics of the special session consist of all aspects related to e-Learning Technologies and Systems. They include but are not limited to:
- Smart e-learning: concepts, strategies, and approaches
- Educational applications of smart technology and smart systems
- Smart technology-based educational software and hardware systems
- Intelligent Tutoring Systems Internet-of-Things (IoT) in eLearning
- Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC)
- Web 3.0 based learning
- Best practices and case studies on e-learning
- Benefits, quality and effectiveness of e-learning

PUBLICATIONS
All accepted papers will appear in the ICIST Conference
Proceedings Volume (published by Springer as a part of CCIS
series) and submitted for indexing to Thomson Reuters ISI.
Selected authors of best papers will be also invited to submit
extended versions of their papers to Information Technology
and Control journal (ISSN 1392-124X; Thomson Reuters ISI
Impact factor 0,813 (2013)).
