SCOPE:
Context aware systems CSA have been an active research area for the last decade. The main feature of CAS is their ability to respond to different environments, so they are proactive systems. The optimum CAS is the human brain which makes it a target for researchers to come up with systems that have close to human brain capabilities. The research and development in CAS have multi-disciplinary dimensions, so ICCASA 2014 expects contributions from different disciplines that will enrich the discussions in the conference. Contributors from Engineering, Science, Social, business, and medical disciplines are expected. ICCASA 2014 will bring together researchers, developers, and industry professionals to discuss recent advances and experiences in context aware systems. The conference will present recent advances, experiences and results in the challenging field of intelligent systems with the focus on the interaction with their surroundings. HIGHLIGHTS: • All accepted papers will be published by Springer and made available through SpringerLink Digital Library, one of the world's largest scientific libraries. • Proceedings will be submitted for indexing by Google Scholar, ISI Proceedings, EICompendex, Scopus and many more. • Selected papers may be invited to publish in the EAI endorsed Transactions on Ambient Systems. • ACM is also sought for publication.
