International Summit on Applications for the Future Internet

Puebla, Mexico, May 25 – 28, 2016

AFI 360 is a unique event bringing a 360 degree perspective on the Future Internet and its Applications. The Summit will gather experiences and innovative ideas from recent developments in this topic, with the aim to coach involved people on the whole path between research to innovation and all the way through to commercialization of ideas, projects and technologies.

The summit will have the following tracks:

SCIENTIFIC TRACK

The scientific track will provide an opportunity to share and learn about the latest developments in the Future Internet infrastructure and main application areas, with AFI conference and its four Tracks:
o Smart Cities and the Future Internet
o Future Internet e-⁠Health
o IoT Applications in the Future Internet
o Future Internet Infrastructures and Enablers

COMMUNITY TRACK

The community track will enable face-to-face networking to build together the next generation of Future Internet applications and services. The community track is the instrument to meet people, companies and organizations. This session brings together such actors to share research plans, kick-start initiatives, formulates new projects and make business.

TECHNOLOGY TRACK

The technology track is meant to shed more light over the actual steps taken by different people / organizations to capitalize on what the Future Internet can deliver. In the various sessions there will be keynote talks and discussion panels from research, government and industrial sectors representatives, gathering views, challenges and opportunities on the Future Internet, from the infrastructure and standards, to the applications and market perspectives.

SUMMER SCHOOL

The summer school will include a series of tutorials in different topics related to the infrastructure and applications of the Future Internet; providing an opportunity for students and professionals to learn and interact from international experts in the field.
