Call For Papers

The Garth Institute for Music Research and Performance will be hosting a symposium –

Those interested must submit a proposal of no more than 300 words in Word format
(.doc) accompanied by a CV of no more than 3 pages. No previously published work
will be accepted as the event is designed to provide a forum for productive and supportive discussion of works-in-progress. All proposals are due by March 15, 2014. Applicants will be notified by email by June 2014 on whether their proposals have been accepted for presentation. Send all proposals and expressions of interest
to info@garthinstitute.org.

Participants will be required to submit a paper as a PDF file of no more than 8,000 words two weeks before the event to the above Email address. Papers will be pre-circulated and read by all participants. Please note that all travel expenses are the responsibility of the participant.

We encourage emerging and junior scholars, and untenured faculty to apply. Visit our website at garthinstitute.wordpress.com for more information, or contact us at info@garthinstitute.org.
