Call For Papers

Over the past years, intelligent systems and Knowledge management such as ontological representation, inference systems, semantic web, planification systems, and recommendation systems have been largely studied by the research community. The application of theoretical results constitutes a hard challenge for both scientific and industrial sides. On the scientific side, it allows to refine and validate the academic contribution of the research. On the industrial one, the real implementation of theoretical studies tries to improve our day to day quality of life in many domains like e-learning e-government and e-health which are considered as extremely important and high challenging ones.

This special issue aims at publishing research papers in the field of intelligent systems and knowledge management, applied on one of the three domains: e-Gov, e-Learning, and e-Health. The Issue will gather principally papers with applied orientation such as case study, survey on real projects, or clear vision on the implementation of theoretical results. The ideal paper has to present innovative ideas to reduce the gap between theoretical concepts and their application in one of the specific three domains (e-learning e-government and e-health).

Submission types

Articles must be based on original research; however extended versions of already published papers are acceptable if they contain at least 30% of new material. IISYKOM likes to publish concrete research with real application or a clear vision on the implementation of a research study. The limitation of each article should be 8-25 pages.
An ideal practical example paper should describe insights from various methods or approaches for studying knowledge modeling and intelligent systems and gives a clear application or a vision on how it can be possible to implement the idea. Three domains of application are considered in this issue (e-learning e-government and e-health)
Topics of interests include, but are not limited to:
• Ontology and semantic web, applied on e-Gov, e-Learning and e-Health.
• ICT for ambient assisted living, applied on e-Gov, e-Learning and e-Health.
• Performance of service supply chain in e-Gov, e-Learning and e-Health.

Papers are subject to the regular '''IJISIS''' review process see www.ijisis.org. The reviewer panel consists of experts in the area of knowledge management, intelligent systems, e-learning e-government and e-health.
