Overview
The 2nd Annual International Visible Learning Conference will convene educational and thought leaders from across the globe to share and dialogue around content and research aimed to deepen our understanding of what actually works best in schools to improve learning. This event is a unique opportunity to reflect on the progress made in individual communities and as an international collective effort towards assessing the impact teachers have on student achievement. The 2nd Annual International conference will provide an interactive venue for educators and academics to share best practices; make connections; discuss trends, needs, case studies, and breakthroughs; and ideate the future of innovative, inviting learning environments. Upon the conclusion of the conference, attendees will have networked with an international community that is equally committed to adopting and finding success with the Visible Learning framework and creating a new benchmark of achievement within our education systems. Conference Theme The theme for the second annual International Visible Learning Conference is: Changing the Narrative Evidence, Action, and Impact. The aim of the Visible Learning research is to tell a story—a story about what works best in education. The 2nd Annual International Visible Learning Conference will empower attendees to take ownership of their story by shifting the focus in education away from initiatives and mandates and towards creating-assessment capable, high-achieving learners. Through the framework of Visible Learning—the most expansive, powerful, proven, and unprecedented educational research base in the world—conference participants will engage in a professional development experience designed to create the paradigm shift necessary to: examine evidence, take action, make an impact, and change the narrative of modern education. |
