Participation modalities (types of works):
• Track 1: Scientific papers (original research,
basic and experimental). Papers written in English.
• Track 2: Teaching experiences. Papers written in
English or Spanish.
•Track 3: Student Research Consortium: Bachelor,
Master and Doctorate. Papers written in English or
Spanish.
•Track 4: Industry experience papers (situations
experienced in the industry, success stories). Papers
written in English or Spanish.

Papers must be original works, not have been
published before, nor subjected simultaneously to
other events.
Works will be presented as long papers (up to 10
pages) −Scientific papers, Teaching experiences−;
and short papers (up to 6 pages) −Industry
experience and Student Consortium papers−.
Submitted papers will be evaluated by an
international technical committee composed of
renowned researchers and professionals, which can
be consulted in the Web site of the conference.
(b) Spanish accepted papers will be integrated and
published in the electronic memories (with ISBN) of
the conference, edited by the CONISOFT'17
Organizing Committee.
(c) Accepted papers in the Track 2 will be
published in a Book edited by the Software
Engineering Chapter of the Mexican Academy of
Computing.
(d) Based on the quality of the English submissions
we are considering publishing best papers in a
post-workshop special issue of a distinguished
journal. Authors will be required to provide
expanded versions of their submissions, which will
undergo an additional review process for inclusion
in the special issue.
