One of the most promising mobile technology application areas is healthcare. Some recent advances in mobile, Internet-based and wireless technologies have supported smart solutions for delivering improved healthcare. Use of mobile technology for healthcare and wellbeing has proved to be cost effective and accessible in most countries, including low income countries. From ambient/assisted living to access to healthcare, mobile technology promises to transform healthcare services for all who require support and care. This transformation is accompanied by a set of challenges related to developing platforms/infrastructure, frameworks, devices and software solutions to enable safe and secure mobile care delivery.
The MT4H workshop aims at providing a forum for discussion and sharing of research promoting all aspects of the mobile solutions for healthcare. Original research papers are invited on all aspects related to m-health, from smart ubiquitous environments to mobile apps, devices and systems applications in healthcare. Practical implementation, deployment and management solutions from the healthcare industry (including the NHS trusts) are also of interest. Topics Topics include, but are not limited to, the following: - m-Health - Smart objects for healthcare - IoT for healthcare - RFID and sensor enabled healthcare technology - Remote monitoring and care - Patient monitoring - Telecare technologies - Software and devices for Telecare - Ambient/Assisted living technology - Mobile technology for wellbeing - Smart home solutions - Technology for disease surveillance - Intelligent technologies for healthcare - Personalised healthcare - Apps for health and wellbeing - Personalised apps for health - Cloud based healthcare solutions - Health Data storage and management - Health Data Analytics - Data Mining - Machine Learning - Decision support systems - Disease surveillance systems - Disease prevention and detection - Health promotion - Patient Record Management - Remote Diagnoses - Emergency and Disaster Response Support ---------------------------------------------- Important Dates ————————————————————————————- Submission Deadline: 31 July 2015 Authors Notification: 15 August 2015 Camera-ready Paper Due: 15 September 2015 Registration Due: 15 September 2015 Conference Date: 26-28 October 2015 --------------------------------------------- Paper Submission ————————————————————————————- All papers need to be submitted electronically through the workshop website (https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=mt4h2015) in PDF format.
