The IASIS 2014 Programme Committee (PC) invites you to join us in Ribeirão Preto in February 2014 for the 1st Iberoamerican Workshop in Interoperable Health Information Systems, which will be held jointly by University of Porto (CINTESIS - FMUP) and University of São Paulo (FMRP – USP).

We invite the scientific community to submit contributions in the form of complete or ongoing work on original research, experiences and reports related with Interoperable Health Information Systems.
The workshop addresses, but are not limited to, the following categories and themes:

Health Information Standards
Security in Health Information Systems
Data Privacy in Health Information Systems
Terminologies and Ontologies in Healthcare
Systems Integration in Healthcare
Mobile Systems in Healthcare
Auditing and Data Quality in Healthcare


The accepted papers will be published in an especial edition of the "Revista da Faculdade de Medicina e do Hospital das Clínicas de Ribeirão Preto"(http://revista.fmrp.usp.br/index.htm). ISSN 2176-7262 (online version) / ISSN 0076-6046 (printed version).
