Scope and Interests
The EUC-13 conference will provide a forum for engineers and scientists in academia, industry, and government to address all challenges including technical, safety, social, and legal issues related to embedded and ubiquitous computing and to present and discuss their ideas, results, work-in-progress and experience on all aspects of embedded and ubiquitous computing. Topics of particular interest include, but are not limited to: (1) Embedded Computing 1. Embedded System Software and Optimization 2. Embedded System Architectures 3. Hardware/Software Co-design and Design Automation 4. Real-Time Systems and Operating Systems 5. Application-Specific Processors and Devices 6. Power-Aware Computing 7. Sensor Networks 8. System/Network-on-Chip 9. Reconfigurable Computing Systems and Applications 10. Cyber-Physical Systems (2) Ubiquitous Computing 1. Pervasive Computing and Communications 2. Middleware and Peer-to-Peer Computing 3. Internet Computing and Applications 4. Multimedia and Data Management 5. Human-Computer Interaction 6. Network Protocols 7. Wireless Communication & Networks 8. Mobile Computing 9. Agents and Distributed Computing 10. Security and Fault Tolerance Applications Submission and Publication Information The accepted papers from this conference will be published by IEEE Computer Society in IEEE proceedings (indexed by EI Compendex). Papers should be written in English conforming to the IEEE Conference Proceedings Format (8.5" x 11", Two-Column). Papers should be submitted through the EasyChair paper submission system at the conference website. Each paper is limited to 8 pages (or 12 pages with the over length charge). Distinguished papers, after further revisions, will be considered for possible publication in several SCI & EI indexed special issues of prestigious international journals. The program committee will select and award two "Best Paper Awards" for this conference. By submitting a paper to the conference, authors assure that if the paper is accepted, at least one author will attend the conference and present the paper. For no-show authors, their papers will be removed from the digital library after the conference and their affiliations will be notified.
