HT2014 is being held in Boston, MA on 13 – 15 May 2014. The purpose of HT2014 is to bring together scientists, engineers, technologists and policy makers from across academic, government, industry and non-government organizations to discuss, share and promote recent research and accomplishments across all aspects of technology, from science to systems, that have a global humanitarian impact.
Invited talks, technical sessions, and technology and policy panels at HT2014 will focus on areas advancing humanitarian engineering. The conference will be organized along tracks and subject areas listed below. Conference tracks will be presented within an operationally-relevant context, drawing as much as possible from real-world experiences in disaster relief, humanitarian assistance, disease management, and other areas. This will be achieved through invited keynote, plenary, and panel sessions presented by current practitioners, including professional responders, industry professionals, and government officials.
