===== Aim and scope =====

The aim of the annual International Conference on Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets (ICIFS) is to gather specialists interested in intuitionistic fuzziness, decision making under uncertainty, and other topics related to intuitionistic fuzzy sets and logics, and to give them floor for discussions on both theoretical and practical aspects. Since 2013, ICIFS has been an EUSFLAT endorsed event.

In 2026, we are having the 29-th edition of the Conference, on 6-7 November 2026, in Sofia, Bulgaria, with an opportunity for online participation.

All papers accepted for presentation at ICIFS'2026 will be published in the Scopus indexed Journal "Notes on Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets" (SJR 2024 = 0.258, Scopus quartile Q3) and will be freely available online as Open Access under CC-BY 4.0 license.

ICIFS'2026 offers both in-person and online participation. It will be held in the Bulgarian capital city Sofia, in the premises of the Institute of Biophysics and Biomedical Engineering, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (Sofia 1113, "Acad. Georgi Bonchev" Str., Block 105).


===== Instructions for the Manuscripts and Presentations =====

Submissions should be up to 25 pages and compliant with the paper template of the Journal "Notes on Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets" and the Journal's Publication Ethics Policy. Manuscripts will be subject to rigorous peer review by two independent reviewers.

Presentations should be 15 minutes with 5 minutes for questions and answers. Links to the Zoom platform for online videoconferencing will be timely provided to the authors of the accepted conference submissions, who opt for online presentation. Presenters are requested to give their talk in real time, but prepare and submit in advance a back-up video of their presentation which will be streamed in case of any technical problems at the time of their presentation.

Registration fee includes:
* conference access, paper publication, certificate for presentation, shared post-conference access to the videos of all presentation,
* coffee breaks, lunch and gala dinner — for the physically attending participants.

Notes:
* Details about bank transfer will be provided upon manuscript acceptance.
* All bank transfer fees are on behalf of the participant.
* PhD students and EUSFLAT members shall provide respective evidences for the reduced fee.
