Call For Papers

The first international workshop on Data Intensive Applications in MObile aNd
Distributed environments (DIAMOND) held in conjunction with ICPP 2010 provides
a high-quality forum for the presentation of latest and original research
results on data intensive application development for the evolving world of
mobile and distributed computing environments.

Topics of interest include, but not limited to, the following:

* Context-aware computing, systems and applications
* Data management in wireless ad hoc network
* Data management in wireless sensor network
* Location-based services
* Mobile agent
* Mobile information retrieval
* Mobile social network
* Mobile system design, implementation and applications
* Moving object databases
* Object tracking
* Privacy protection in mobile and distributed environments
* Performance evaluation of mobile and distributed systems
* RFID systems and applications
* Theoretical foundations of mobile and distributed computing
* User mobility
* Wireless data broadcast
* Wireless security and privacy

We are inviting paper submissions. Submission should be formatted according
to the IEEE standard double-column format with a font size 10 pt or larger.
The IEEE style templates are available at http://www.ieee.org/web/
publications/pubservices/confpub/AuthorTools/conferenceTemplates.html.

Each paper is strictly limited to 8 pages in length (including references).
Submissions should represent original research results. Accepted papers
will be invited to give presentations in the workshop and published in
proceedings.
