IEEE ComNet'2014 - Call for Papers
March 19 - March 22, 2014, Hammamet, Tunisia ------------------------------ EXTENDED DEADLINE: October 30, 2013 ------------------------------ This fourth International Conference on Communications and Networking (ComNet’2014), technically sponsored by IEEE, aims at bringing together ICT researchers from northern and southern countries to meet, exchange ideas and expertise, initiate and strengthen cooperation between them on topics related to communications and networking. It positions itself as a platform to researchers and practitioners both from academia and industry to meet and share cutting-edge research and development in these fields. ComNet’2014 will provide an excellent international forum for sharing knowledge and research results in theories, methodologies and applications in different topics related to communications and networking, both in wired and wireless networks, from a theoretical as well as practical point of view. Original papers are invited on topics related to computer networks, network protocols, wireless networks, data communication technologies and network security. Authors are solicited to contribute to this conference by submitting articles that illustrate research results, projects, surveying works and industrial experiences that describe significant advances in the following areas, but are not limited to: Networking Heterogeneous wireless networks Adhoc and sensor networks Internet of things Measurement and performance analysis Mobile and broadband wireless internet Mobile networks and wireless LAN Multimedia networking Network sharing Network-based applications Network operations and management Network protocols and wireless networks Network security Networked systems and applications Next generation internet Next generation web architectures Recent trends and developments in computer networks Routing, switching and addressing techniques Scheduling, call admission and congestion control Networks and cloud computing Self-organizing networks Vehicle-to-vehicle/roadside/internet networking Social networks Cognitive networking Delay tolerant networks Physical-Layer Communications Signal processing for communications Wireless communications Multihop and cooperative communications Source and channel coding ARQ and adaptive modulation and coding Multiple access techniques Cognitive and green radio Compressive sensing Interference mitigation MIMO systems and space-time coding Turbo-processing Multiuser detection Ultra-wideband communications Physical layer network coding Wireless sensor networks and applications Positioning and localization 4G Services and Architectures Emerging Wireless/Mobile Applications Context and Location-Aware 4G Services Mobile Computing Systems Service discovery and integration Adaptive Services management Policies and strategies for deployment Communication Architectures and models QoS management Fault tolerance, safety and security Supervision and control OSS, data charging, Revenue Assurance SIP Based convergent services Content Distribution Internet computing Cloud computing SaaS/PaaS/IaaS Virtual Organizations and Business Processes Paper Submissions Authors are invited to submit papers, not exceeding 2500 words (5 pages using 10-point type) for the conference by October 30, 2013 (for more details, visit www.supcom.mincom.tn/ComNet2014).
