2010 IEEE International Conference on Mechatronics and Automation (ICMA 2010)
will be held on August 4-7, 2010, in Xi’an, China, the ancient capital city with a history of more than 3,100 years and home to the World Heritage Site, the Terracotta Army. ICMA has grown into the largest gathering of its kind in the world for researchers and practitioners in the fields of mechatronics and automation. We anticipate the 2010 conference to be another tremendous opportunity for fruitful intellectual and social interactions among researchers of these increasingly important fields. Full-length, high-quality, and original papers are solicited on the following topics of interest: • Mechatronics, robotics, biomimetics, automation, control systems • Elements, structures, mechanisms, and applications of micro/nano systems • Telerobotics, human computer interaction, human-robot interaction • Sensor design, multi-sensor data fusion, and wireless sensor networks • Biomedical and rehabilitation engineering, and medical robotics • Control system modeling, simulation techniques, and control applications • Intelligent control, neuro-control, fuzzy control and their applications • Industrial process control, manufacturing process and automation • Computer vision, image/video processing, and artificial intelligence All papers must be submitted in PDF with IEEE conference paper format and six pages in length (or up to eight with extra page charge). All accepted ICMA 2010 papers will appear in IEEE Xplore, and will be submitted to EI to be indexed. IMPORTANT DATES March 21, 2010 Deadline for paper submission May 17, 2010 Notification of acceptance decisions May 31, 2010 Final paper submissions due August 4-7, 2010 Technical program and post-conference tours |
