CONSORTIUM OF COMPUTING SCIENCES IN COLLEGES SOUTHWESTERN CONFERENCE
MARCH 14-15, 2014 CALIFORNIA STATE UNIVERSITY, NORTHRIDGE LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA http://www.ccsc.org/southwestern/2014 CCSC-SW brings together faculty, staff and students from academic institutions throughout the southwestern United States for the exchange of ideas and information concerning all levels of computing education. This conference is in Cooperation with the ACM Special Interest Group on Computer Science Education (SIGCSE) SCHOLARLY PAPERS We invite you to submit research papers related to computing. We encourage experience reports and research studies in all relevant areas; we are particularly interested in topics of interest to educators in computing at the college level. Accepted papers will be presented at the conference and published in The Journal of Computing Sciences in Colleges. Papers will also be available through the ACM Digital Library. Papers should be no longer than six pages. Papers will be double blind peer reviewed. To inquire about appropriate topics or paper format, or for questions about creating the anonymous review draft, contact the author chair, Peter Gabrovsky, peterg@csun.edu. To inquire about the submission process or to volunteer to review papers, contact the paper chair, Megan Thomas, mthomas@cs.csustan.edu. PANELS & TUTORIALS We invite you to submit proposals for panels and tutorials on topics that are consistent with the themes of the conference. Abstracts of accepted panels and tutorials will be published in The Journal of Computing Sciences in Colleges. For additional information, contact Tzu-Yi Chen at tzuyi@cs.pomona.edu. STUDENT POSTERS Students are encouraged to submit abstracts for posters to be presented at the conference, describing computing related development or research that the students have recently undertaken. Presenters must be current undergraduate or graduate students. To participate, send a poster abstract to Youwen Ouyang at ouyang@csusm.edu.
