Call For Papers

In its 32nd edition, the Brazilian Symposium on Computer Networks and Distributed Systems (Simpósio Brasileiro de Redes de Computadores e Sistemas Distribuídos - SBRC) is the premier annual Brazilian conference in its field. Over more than three decades, SBRC has become the most important scientific event of the Brazilian Computer Networks and Distributed Systems research community, and one of the most competitive national symposia in Computer Science.
Although its main focus remains the Brazilian research community, SBRC also welcomes submissions in English from foreign researchers and practicioners.

SBRC 2014 will consist of technical sessions, mini-courses, panels, workshops, demo sessions, tutorials and invited talks delivered by internationally renowned scientists. Specific calls to the various activities of the SBRC will be released shortly.
The authors of the best papers will be invited to submit an extended version of their work for the Journal of Internet Services and Applications (JISA) - when written in English - or the Brazilian Journal of Computer Networks and Distributed Systems (RB -RESD). All papers accepted - and presented - in SBRC's main track will be published in IEEE Xplore.

Paper submission will be electronic, using the JEMS system. Manuscripts may be written in Portuguese or in English and submitted in PDF format. Each paper is limited to 14 pages, including the abstract, figures, graphs, references and appendices.
Papers should be formatted following the SBC article format, available at http://www.sbc.org.br, in the Documents menu select the option Publications: Templates for Articles and Book Chapters.
