FITOGENÉTICA, A.C. (SOMEFI)invites you to send a manuscript. REVISTA FITOTECNIA
MEXICANA (SOMEFI's own journal) will publish a supplement with those contributions that successfully approve the editorial process.

Revista Fitotecnia Mexicana (RFM) is one of the prestigious Mexican scientific journals related to agronomy. RFM has international impact, and it is indexed by Thomson - Reuters, SCImago and SciELO.

General Guidelines

Requirements to participate
It is not required to be a SOMEFI member, but fees are higher. However, we invite you to become a member (http://goo.gl/V2fyLZ).

Authors that are not SOMEFI members must pay the Participation Fee. If their manuscript is published, that fee will be discounted from the total Publication Costs.

Every manuscripts will undergo the editorial process at Revista Fitotecnia Mexicana, no exceptions. Only those manuscripts that successfully complete the editorial process will be published in the 2014 Suplement.

If the manuscript is accepted, any one of the authors must register at the Conference, to present their work at an oral sesion.

Manuscript Preparation
Authors should send a digital version of their manuscript in Word format (.doc, .docx). The manuscript must be in Spanish.

Margins must be set at 2 cm on each side. Page must be letter-sized. Text should be typed in one column. Lines should not be numbered. All the manuscript should be justified on both sides and typed in ‘Times New Roman’ font. Each paragraph must start with three empty spaces, except References. Each page should be numbered and end with complete words. The manuscript should contain the chapters Resumen and Palabras Clave, Summary and Keywords, Introducción (including a literature review), Materiales y Métodos, Resultados y Discusión (in one chapter, including conclusions), and References. Total length of the manuscript, for this Special Suplement, including figures and tables, should not exceed fifteen (15) pages.
