The 2nd International Workshop on Data-Intensive Knowledge and Intelligence (DIKI 2014)
Date: May 29-31, 2014 Location: Zhangjiajie, China Workshop Website: http://www.ftrai.org/futuretech2014, or,http://www.vocgrid.org/lssc/DIKI2014.htm About DIKI Following the high success of DIKI 2013 (Jeju, Korea, the previous acronym title was 2013DIIK ), the 2rd International Workshop on Data-Intensive Knowledge and Intelligence (DIKI 2014) will be held in conjunction with the 9th FTRA International Conference on Future Information Technology (FutureTech2014). Aims and Scope This workshop aims to discuss key issues and practices on future information technology in Data-Intensive Intelligence and Knowledge. Recently, the next generation technologies of developing intelligence and knowledge, such as distributed and parallel computing, social computing, and cloud computing, are being discussed to support handling scientific data, medical records, business transactions, web logs and so on. This workshop will provide a cross-disciplinary forum for scientists, engineers, and computer users to share their experiences, new ideas, and research results in data-intensive knowledge and intelligence. In particular, we will discuss what the future information technology might be in the light of the recent wave of Big Data, Semantic Web, Social Computing and Knowledge Acquisition technologies. By bringing together representatives of academia and industry, the workshop is also a means for identifying new research problems and disseminating results of the research and practice. Topics of Interest Topics of interest include but are not limited to: - Knowledge Representation/Extraction/Management - Human-centric Computing and Social Networks - Data Collection/Manipulation/Storage/Fusion in Big Data - Distributed and Parallel Processing for Big Text Data Analysis - Big Data Sharing and Privacy Preserving - Distributed System Architectures and Application - Large-Scale Data Mining and Text Mining - Web Intelligence - Distributed Intelligent Information Analysis - Intelligent Service Technology - Technology/Competitive/Collective Intelligence - Distributed Intelligence Service Design and Implementation - Mobile systems and development for handheld devices - Scalable Learning and Reasoning - Context-Aware Reasoning and Representation - Ontology and Semantic Web - Linked (Open) Data Analysis - Visualization on Big Data Submission & Publication Authors are invited to submit original papers that MUST NOT have been submitted to or published in any other workshop, conference, or journal.
