CALL FOR PAPERS
7th ACM India Software Engineering Conference ISEC 2014 http://isoft.acm.org/isec2014/ February 19-21, 2014 Chennai, India ISEC is the annual conference of India Software Engineering community (ISOFT), the Indian Chapter of the SIGSOFT Special Interest Group of ACM. The Seventh ISEC will be held at Chennai. ISEC aims to bring together researchers and practitioners in software engineering related areas from across the world. We invite technical papers describing original and unpublished results of conceptual, empirical, and experimental software engineering research. The goal of the conference is to provide a forum for researchers and practitioners from both academia and industry to meet and share cutting -edge advancements in the field of software engineering. All submissions should clearly identify their contribution to the state of the art and their potential usefulness. Submissions are invited broadly in all aspects of software engineering, including but not limited to, the following: * Requirements Engineering * Human Factors in Software Engineering * Testing, Model checking and Static analysis * Specification and Verification * Model-driven Software Engineering * Component-based Software Engineering * Cloud Computing and Software Engineering * Software as a Service * Mobile, Embedded and Real-time Systems * Software Security * Software Engineering Project Management * Knowledge management in Software Engineering * Software Architecture and Design * Service-oriented Architectures and Web Services * Empirical Software engineering * Software Engineering Economics * Development Paradigms and Processes * Tools and Environments * Maintenance and Evolution * Software Engineering Education * Multicore Software Engineering Papers describing Industry Experience are welcome. Several of the above topics are very pertinent to IT services industry in India, and we particularly encourage practitioners in the services industry to submit papers and participate in the conference. Industry experience papers will have a different review criterion. PAPER SUBMISSION: Research Paper submissions will be reviewed and evaluated based on originality, technical quality, and relevance to conference. Submission of papers will be carried out electronically via the Web in PDF format. Research Papers should not exceed ten pages, and follow ACM SIG guidelines: http://www.acm.org/sigs/pubs/proceed/template.html. We plan to have the proceedings published through ACM and have it available in ACM Digital library.
