Call For Papers

* We are also inviting you as Track Program Committee(TPC) members.

This track aims to share research results and experiences in Mobile Platform field with researchers and developers. The mobile platforms are in a constant state of change with new devices and technologies introduced almost every day. As a result, mobile platform developers and researchers continue to evolve mobile technologies that are used for increasing mobile conversions and enhancing relationships among users. Mobile platforms have shifted the paradigm of e-commerce to m-commerce, as well as platform related issues. M-Commerce can be defined as any transactions with a monetary value that is conducted over a wireless telecommunication network, especially running on smartphones. This area expects to be shown a significant growth, because it results in increased convenience and satisfaction for consumers. There are, however, other issues (security and privacy problems) that are obstacles to thrive mobile technologies. It is very dangerous for people to lose or be attacked their mobile phones that store sensitive personal information. This track will address all of these research issues related to mobile platforms.

Major topics of interest include but are not limited to the following:

 Mobile Platform and Mobile Applications
 Operating Systems for Mobile Platforms
 Test-bed Implementations and Results
 Mobile Remote Access Infrastructure
 Interacting with External Devices
 Application Testing and Quality Assurance
 Performance-Oriented Design and Evaluation
 Battery Monitoring and Energy Saving Algorithm
 Security of Mobile Platforms and Devices
 Privacy Protection
 Remote Access Infrastructure
 Location Based Services and Device Tracking
 Software Framework for Mobile Commerce

Paper Submission

Authors are invited to submit original papers in all areas of experimental computing and application development for the technical program via the Mobile Platforms track hosted by SAC 2014. Submissions fall into the following categories:
 Original and unpublished research work
 Reports of innovative computing applications in the arts, sciences, engineering, and business areas
 Reports of successful technology transfer to new problem domains
 Reports of industrial experience and demos of new innovative systems

The file format should be in PDF. The author(s) name(s) and address(es) must not appear in the body of the paper, and self-reference should be in the third person. All papers will be fully refereed and undergo a double blind review process by at least three referees.

Prospective papers should be submitted to the track using the START submission system. Submission of the same paper to multiple tracks is not allowed. For more information please visit SAC 2014 Website.
