FARES establishes an in-depth academic platform to exchange novel theories, designs, applications and on-going research results among researchers and practitioners in different Computing Dependability aspects which emphasize the Practical Issues in Availability, Reliability and Security.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to Reliability Models and Failure Prevention Intrusion Detection and Fraud Detection Dependability Requirement Engineering Dependability Modelling and Prediction Standards, Guidelines and Certification Database and Datawarehouse Security Secure Enterprise Information System Network/Software/Database Security Trust Models and Trust Management Risk Planning, Analysis & Awareness Survivability of Computing Systems Authentication and Access Control Security aspects in E-Government Applied Tools and Applications Legal and economic aspects Security Models / Methods Security and privacy issues Data Analysis and Security Availability and Reliability Social Network Security Usability and Security Identity Management Digital Forensics Web Security Grid Security Blockchain All accepted and presented papers compete for the best paper awards, which will be announced at the workshop closing ceremony. The authors of the awarded papers will receive a certificate. A selection of accepted papers will be invited to submit an extended version of this research to the Special Issue entitled Topical Collection “Innovation in Information Security”, which will be published in Applied Sciences, an open access journal with IF = 2.838 (https://www.mdpi.com/journal/applsci/indexing) indexed within Scopus, SCIE (Web of Science), Inspec, CAPlus / SciFinder, and other databases. For invited papers, the Article Processing Charge (2300 CHF) will be fully waived. |
