# Conference Scope
Let’s proceed from the following expanded definition of Cognitonics: “Cognitonics is the science about the trajectories of raising the human being to such level of intellectual and spiritual height, where the scale of his /her personality becomes proportional to the scale of the digital world”

The first objective of cognitonics is to explicate the distortions in the perception of the world caused by the peculiarities of knowledge society and globalization. The second, principal objective of cognitonics is to cope with these distortions in different fields by means of elaborating systemic solutions for compensating the negative implications of the kind for the personality and society, in particular, for creating cognitive-cultural and cognitive-emotional preconditions of the harmonic development of the personality in knowledge society and for ensuring the successful development of national cultures and national languages.

The speakers of the previous seven international conferences on cognitonics are the scholars from 25 countries located in five parts of the world:

Africa (Botswana), Asia (PR China, India, Japan, Lebanon, Pakistan), Europe (Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Makedonia, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovenia, Sweden, United Kingdom), North America (Mexico and USA), South America (Brazil).

#Tracks of the conference

Track 1: The Facets of the Personality to Be Paid Special Attention to and Enhanced to Reach a Balance with Highest Achievements in Digital Sphere

Some possible themes (to be expanded):

- Supporting and developing emotional intelligence by means of developing the ability to appreciate the beauty in all its manifestations (in poetry, painting, human relations, and human deeds) in order to enhance, in particular, creative fantasy and construct a good basis for achieving the tops in mathematics, physics, engineering, painting, marketing, etc.);
- A broad introduction of thought-provoking art lessons (vivid discussions of poetry and painting) into preschool, elementary, middle, and high school education for supporting and developing thought-producing self of the learner, out-of-box thinking, creative thinking, and serendipity;
- Preventing substitution of intrinsic emotions by the designations of emotions;
- Teaching children, adolescents, and university students to extract the patterns of social behaviour from the observations of nature (Example: A boy becomes more confident in himself when he sees a fat fearless crow sitting on a twig because it trusts its wings);
- While teaching literature (including classic literature), making accent of the peculiarities of the characters and the motives of the relations and the deeds in order to better understand the other people, to be successful in personal communication and, as a result, to be happy in private life;
- Improvement of every-day communication language by means of mastering poetic language.

The proceedings of all seven previous conferences on cognitonics are available online free of charge (go to the link https://is.ijs.si/?page_id=903 and select either a section "Kognitonika/Cognitonics" of the volume "Zbornik A/Proceedings A" in case of Cognit-2009, Cognit-2011, Cognit-2013 or a separate volume "Kognitonika/Cognitonics" in case of Cognit-2015, Cognit-2017, etc.).

#Publications

The Proceedings of the conference Cognit-2025 will be published in a separate edited volume with an ISBN and will be posted (open access) in October 2025 on the Web-site of the Multiconference IS 2025. The best papers presented at the conference will be recommended (in modified and expanded forms) for publishing in Informatica. An International journal of Computing and Informatics (www.informatica.si, open access, indexed in Scopus and Web of Science, no publication fee).

The participants of the conference register for the Multiconference IS 2025. The registration fee is to be transferred to the Organizing Committee in Ljubljana, the fee covers the participation in all sessions of the multiconference Information Society 2025 (including all sessions of Cognit-2025) and an USB with the Proceedings of IS 2025 (include an ISBN).
