The recent years have witnessed an explosion of research activities in the area of resistive switching elements, also known as memristors. Such elements are likely to provide: the next generation of memories (RAM, Flash and Disk), material implication logic, a hardware substrate for bioinspired processing and new dimensions for
analog circuit design, suitable for solving complex real world problems. This conference is the premier forum where researchers can present results and innovative solutions for memristor fabrication, modelling and for circuit and system design that takes advantage of these promising devices. The conference is multidisciplinary in nature comprising an eclectic mix of technical sessions and invited talks. The organization and planning of the conference enables members of our communities to broaden their knowledge in emerging areas of research at the interface of this promising area of devices, circuits and systems. The MEMRISYS 2015 organizing committee invites prospective authors to submit 2-page paper abstracts (in standard IEEE double-column format), including title, authors’ names, affiliations and e-mail addresses, on scientific and technical interest in the following topics (but not limited to): • Theory and modeling • Functional materials and devices • Advanced nanoelectronic technologies • Information storage at the nano-scale • Bio-inspired memory and computation • Neuromorphic circuits and systems • Memristor-based circuits • Signal processing with memristors • Applications exploiting memristors • Novel architectures and CMOS integration • Cellular automata and array computing • Chaos and complex networks • Sensory applications • Memristive Systems for Space Applications |
