Call For Papers | |||||||||||||||
We focus on the key technologies and challenges of Self-Organization Networks (SON). SON is featured by the so-called self-x functions including self-configuration, self-optimization, self-adaption, self-healing, self-protection, etc. These functions make SON capable of reducing the network deployment time, cutting the operational costs, and facilitating network management without human involvement. To further enhance the performance of SON, a mix of critical technologies are required to address the special needs of heterogeneous network (HetNet) environment. In addition, the coordination and integration of SON functions should also be taken into account to pursue further advancements. This conference solicits both original research and tutorial articles that investigate the key technology for future SON in various scenarios. Keynote Speakers ============== "5G visions, requirements and enabling technologies" - Ming Lei, Samsung R&D Institute China "New network architecture for mobile internet" - Jianquan Wang, China Unicom Submissions ========== Only PDF files will be accepted for the review process and all submissions must be done through EasyChair. Papers should be written in English with a maximum paper length of eight (8) printed pages including figures without incurring additional page charges. Submissions will be reviewed by at least 3 reviewers and judged on originality, correctness, clarity and relevance. Submitted papers must be original work, and may not be under consideration for another conference or journal. Submission of the paper implies agreement of the author(s) to attend the conference and present the paper if accepted. The paper submissions must follow the Springer formatting guidelines. Publication ========= Papers accepted for the conference will be published in the conference proceedings by Springer-Verlag in the Lecture Notes of ICST (LNICST). LNICST volumes are submitted for inclusion to leading indexing services, including EI Engineering Index, DBLP, Google Scholar, ACM Digital Library, ISI Proceedings, CrossRef, Scopus and Zentralblatt Math, as well as ICST's own EU Digital Library (EUDL), and selected papers will be published in MONET SON special issue. The conference will be indexed by EI and the special issue will be indexed by SCI. We reserve the right to exclude papers accepted but not presented from the conference proceedings submitted for archiving and indexing.
