Call For Papers | |||||||||||
We welcome four different types of submission for the conference. Given that there are several months between the abstract submission date and the conference, we are receptive to abstracts describing research in progress, as long as the work will be completed by the conference date.
Papers are 15-20 minute oral presentations. Posters are visual presentations – participants will produce a poster summary and time will be allocated in the programme for viewing posters. A symposium is a set of 4 or 5 linked oral papers on a theme. Symposia should be co-ordinated by one person who will act as chair during the session. 90 minutes will be allocated in total for each symposium. Workshops are opportunities to present more practically oriented information, including training or assessment approaches, for example. Workshops will last for 90 minutes. Workshops should not be used to advertise commercial programmes – exhibition space is provided for this. For papers, posters and workshops, applicants are asked to provide a single abstract of no more than 300 words summarising the rationale, method, results and conclusions of the work. For symposia, applicants are asked to provide individual 150 word abstracts for each talk, plus a 300-word summary linking the papers. |
