In the past year, IWWIP 2010, 2011 and 2012 were successfully held in Qingdao, Guilin and Xi’an, China, respectively. In this year, IWWIP 2013 will focus on the application of text mining, natural language processing and natural language understanding techniques to process Web information. The genuine landmarks of the workshop include the best paper award. Furthermore, IWWIP 2013 will invite 1-2 keynote speakers to present the state-of-the-art research on web information processing. IWWIP 2013 will be jointly held with the 2013 IEEE International Conference on Machine Learning and Cybernetics (ICMLC 2013) and International Conference on Wavelet Analysis and Pattern Recognition (ICWAPR 2013). Participants are free to attend sessions, tutorials, panels, and demonstrations of these three conferences. A joint proceeding will be included in the IEEE Xplore. Note that all past IWWIP papers are EI Compendix indexed. Furthermore, selected papers have been published on International Journal of Computer Processing of Oriental Languages and World Wide Web Journal. This year, all of the papers should be EI Compendix indexed and the selected papers will be recommended to special issues of some SCI indexed journal for ICMLC 2013.
