The IEEE R10 consists of 57 Sections, 6 Councils, 21 Sub-sections, 583 student branches and over 500 Chapters. With a membership of 73,000, it is one of the largest regions in the IEEE. Held annually since 1980, TENCON provides an important forum for researchers and engineers from industry, and professors and graduate students from the academia to network and to discuss new ideas and development in emerging areas of electrical and electronic engineering, computers science and related topics. Prospective authors are invited to submit original technical papers for presentation at the conference and publication in the conference proceedings. TENCON 2012 will be held in the historic island of Cebu, Philippines from November 19-22, 2012 at Radisson Blu Hotel. The conference will feature plenary and invited talks by eminent scientists and engineers, tutorials, paper presentations, poster sessions and industrial exhibits. Invited speakers shall discuss the latest developments on advancing technology for humanity – a major theme of the IEEE. The oldest city in the Philippines and known as the “Queen City of the South”, Cebu City combines the thrills of a bustling metropolis with the charm and coziness of a small tropical town. Paper length should be a maximum of six (6) pages including figures, tables, references, and appendices. Please use the standard IEEE conference proceedings templates for Microsoft Word or LaTeX format on A4 size pages founded at http://www.ieee.org/web/publications/pubservices/confpub/AuthorTools/conferenceTemplates.html. All papers submitted in the conference will undergo rigid peer review process.
