The 11th International Conference on Intelligent Environments IE´15
The 11th Intelligent Environments Conference, associated workshops and forums are organised by the Faculty of Informatics and Management, University of Hradec Kralove (UHK), Czech Republic. The 2015 edition follows a series of highly successful conferences that were previously organized in Colchester (UK), Athens (Greece), Ulm (Germany), Seattle (USA), Barcelona (Spain), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Nottingham (UK), Guanajuato (Mexico) and Shanghai (China). The concept of Intelligent Environment (IE) has matured into a vision of a technological ecosystem adaptive to human needs and active along human intentions. Every year research endeavor advances towards this vision. The IE’15 provides an open platform for interactive discussion, sharing expertise and scientific socialization. Author Information IE’15 features three different paper categories: • Regular full papers are limited to eight pages. Full papers are refereed publications of original research in the field of Intelligent Environments. They present significant contributions to research and practice including evaluation. Full papers are rigorously reviewed by members of the program committee and peer experts. • Regular short papers are limited to four pages. Short papers present brief and focused research contributions that are noteworthy. Short papers are rigorously reviewed by members of the program committee and peer experts. • Work in progress, position, demo, and video papers are limited to four pages. They present a concise report of recent findings, focused research contributions, or other types of innovative or thought-provoking work. These papers are reviewed by the program committee but in a less rigorous process than regular papers. Authors are invited to submit all types of papers in standard IEEE double-column format. IE'15 submissions must be unpublished previously and should not be undergoing consideration for publication elsewhere during the IE'15 review period. IE’15 will use a double-blind reviewing process. Author names/affiliations must not appear in the title area of a paper-in-submission, but further anonymization is at the authors' discretion. All papers accepted in the main conference will be electronically available through IEEE Explore. The Intelligent Environments conference is currently indexed by both EI Compendex and Thomson's Web of Science (Thomson ISI) and the 2015 edition will also be submitted for indexing. All papers accepted in the Workshops program will be published as a volume of the Ambient Intelligence and Smart Environments Series of IOS Press and electronically available through ACM Digital Library. Both proceedings will be ISI indexed. A selection of papers will be invited to submit extended versions to Journal of Ambient Intelligence and Smart Environments and ICST Transactions on Future Intelligent Educational Environments.
