The 29th International Symposium on Computer-Based Medical Systems (CBMS 2016) will be held in Dublin, June 20, 2016: 1st conference day Belfast, June 21 - 23, 2016: Conference days 2-4 IEEE CBMS is the leading conference for computational medicine. It is an international forum for the exchange of ideas and technologies between scholars and practitioners. We solicit submissions on previously unpublished research work. Example areas include but are not limited to: * Data Analysis and Knowledge Discovery * Knowledge Representation * Decision Support and Recommendation Systems * Big Data and Everywhere Data Management * Systems Integration and Security * Biomedical Signal and Image Processing and Machine Vision * Clinical and Healthcare Services Research * Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) in Healthcare * Computer-supported Cooperative Work (CSCW) in Healthcare * Medical Education * Robotics, Intelligent Medical Devices and Smart Technologies * Bioinformatics Important dates: ======================= Abstract submission: January 29, 2016 (extended) Paper submission: February 14, 2016 (extended) Notification of acceptance: March 14, 2016 Camera-ready due: March 31, 2016 Author registration at the conference: March 31, 2016 (same day as camera-ready due) CBMS 2016: June 20 - 23, 2016 (1st day in Dublin, then Belfast) Submission guidelines: ======================= Each contribution must be prepared following the IEEE two-column format, and should not exceed the length of 6 (six) Letter-sized pages; the authors may use LaTeX or Microsoft Word templates when preparing their manuscripts. Papers must be submitted electronically using the Easychair conference management system at: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=cbms2016 All submissions will be peer-reviewed by three reviewers of the Program Committee. All accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings, and will be published by the IEEE. For each accepted paper, at least one author must register at the conference before the Author Registration Deadline. A journal special issue will follow. Details to appear in the website. Awards: ======================= The CBMS 2016 will grant two awards: 1) Test of Time Award CBMS 2016 introduces a new award for prominent publications of past CBMS conferences. Details to appear in the website. 2) Best Student Paper Award Entitled are papers, where the first author is a full-time student. Such submissions must be marked as such and accompanied by a letter of support from the student’s supervisor.
