Research papers authors are invited to submit full-length papers of up to six pages long. All accepted papers should be presented at the conference either as oral presentation or as poster and they will be published in the ISMIR conference proceedings. All research papers will go through a double-blind review and selection process with at least three reviewers per submission. Here are the submission details.

Paper Submission
Papers must be formatted according to the following instructions:
Submitted papers must be no more than six pages long and must consist of original contributions.
Submit your paper in PDF format according to one of the following templates: ISMIR 2015 LaTeX and Word Template Packages.
Submission system will be opened on January 2015.
About Deadline Extension
There will be no extension to the paper submission deadline (April 27th). However, authors of registered papers on April 27th will be allowed to upload new versions of their papers (in PDF format) until May 4th (23h59 American Samoa timezone). No other changes will be possible (i.e. authors will not be able to change title, abstract, authors, keywords/topics, or other metadata). No submission of new papers will be possible after May 4th.
On The Reviewing Process
In order to ensure the quality of the published papers at the conference, all the submitted papers are evaluated according to the following criteria:
novelty
scholarly/scientific quality
appropriateness of topic
importance
readability and paper organization
Since ISMIR2008, ISMIR reviews are double blind; that is, authors and reviewers will be anonymous to each other. To ensure this please keep the author list "from" appearing in the text and avoid excessive reference to your own work.
The reviewing workflow follows a two-tier model, i.e. with one level of "regular" reviewers, and another level of "meta-reviewers". All the papers are examined by, at least, three reviewers.
