CALL FOR PAPERS

ICIT (International Conference on Information Technology) is a premier international conference for high quality research in the area of Information Technology. The 12th ICIT, ICIT-2009 is being jointly organized by the Orissa Information Technology Society (http://www.oits.org) and the TempleCity Institute of Technology and Engineering (TITE), Bhubaneswar (http://tite.ac.in), in technical cooperation with IEEE-Computer Society, to be held at Bhubaneswar, India from 21st-24th December 2009. Researchers and practitioners from academia and industry are invited to present their research findings on various topics related to Information Technology and its Applications.

CONFERENCE TRACKS:
ICIT-2009 encourages submissions in all areas of information technology.
However, the papers in the following tracks will be the primary focus.

PAPER SUBMISSION:
Manuscripts reporting high quality original and unpublished research are solicited for this conference.
The manuscripts will undergo double-blind review by a strong team of reviewers and program committee members consisting of leading researchers around the globe. Manuscripts longer than 6 pages or disclosing the identity of the authors will be discarded. All accepted papers will appear in the conference proceedings provided at least one of the authors registers for the conference. Tutorial presenters are requested to contact the tutorial chairs for the suitability of the topics and then submit a description of at most two pages along with the curriculum vitae of the proposers to one of the tutorial chairs.

BEST PAPER AWARDS: The Amiya K. Pujari Award will be conferred on the Best Paper of the conference; the Narayan Misra Award on the best paper from Orissa. The awards carry a cash prize and a citation.

FELLOWSHIPS: The Steering Committee will award a limited number of fellowships to students based on need and merit, to partially cover expenses of attendees from India. Applications must be submitted before the fellowship application deadline using the conference website.
