Call For Papers
At the International Conference on Information Systems and Design of Communication (ISDOC2013), researchers and practitioners will exchange information in areas relevant to the design of communication, processes, methods, and technologies for communicating and designing communication artifacts such as printed documents, online text, and hypermedia applications. The ISDOC2013 will be held in Lisboa, Portugal on 11 th July 2013. The conference will cover the following topics (but not exclusively): Collaborative Systems Design of communication and Editing tools Design of communication and Games Search engine optimization (SEO) Big Data Learning Systems Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Design of communication and organizational systems Design for Interaction Cloud Computing User Experience Methods to Support Design User Support Systems and Documentation Collaborative Systems Design Principles Human-Computer Interaction (HCI/CHI) Computer-Mediated Communication Approaches to Information Design and Information Architecture International and Intercultural Communication Design ISDOC 2013 will include technical papers, experience reports and posters. Authors should submit complete drafts of all type of submissions for review by the program committee. The ACM paper format (http://www.acm.org/sigs/publications/pubform.doc) must be followed. Additional information in ACM SIG Proceedings Templates (http://www.acm.org/sigs/publications/proceedings-templates) To submit a paper, experience report or poster proposal for review, use the sbmission platform [https://www.easychair.org/account/signin.cgi?conf=isdoc2013] or carlos.costa@acm.org mail, with the following subject:”ISDOC2013 – Paper”. If you have any question e-mail Carlos Costa (carlos.costa@acm.org). Acceptance for publication is contingent on registration for the conference. (In the case of multiple authors, at least one must register to full conference.) If you cannot attend the conference, a publication fee equivalent to the event registration will be charged. Guidelines for Research Papers – Papers should not exceed 5,000 words, approximately 8 pages in ACM conference format (available at the site), including figures and references. The results described must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Guidelines for Short papers – Papers should not exceed 6 pages in ACM conference format. Guidelines for Experience Reports – Experience reports should not exceed 3,500 words. The experience report is a standalone, six-page extended abstract that describes a design experience and its lessons for other designers of communication. The experience report must include the title, names and affiliations of the authors, an abstract of up to 150 words, and keywords. Guidelines for posters – Accepted poster submissions will receive a two pages description in the conference proceedings. The submission should be formated according to the ACM guidelines for paper submissions, but the length must be only two pages. Acceptance for publication is contingent on registration for the conference. In the case of multiple authors, at least one must register to full conference. If you cannot attend the conference, a publication fee equivalent to the event registration will be charged. If an author presents more than one paper, an additional fee is charged for publishing each additional paper. |
