AIC 2023: 9th International Workshop on Artificial Intelligence and Cognition ----------------------------------------------- University of Bremen, Bremen, Germany 14-15 September 2023 Abstract Submission deadline: 16 June, 2023 (strict) Paper Submission deadline: June 30th, 2023 (strict) Workshop website: https://ease-crc.org/aic-2023/ About AIC 2023 ----------------------------------------------- AIC 2023 is the 9th international appointment of the International Workshop Series AIC on "Artificial Intelligence and Cognition". The AIC series (see http://www.aicworkshopseries.org/) started in 2013, stemming from the need of creating an international scientific forum for the discussion and the presentation of the theoretical and applied research developments in the field of cognitively inspired Artificial Intelligence. In this spirit, the AIC 2023 workshop aims at putting together researchers coming from different domains (e.g., artificial intelligence, cognitive science, neuroscience, robotics, etc.) working on the interdisciplinary field of cognitively inspired artificial systems. AIC 2023 will take place at the Bremen University, Tab Building - Robotics Lab from September 14-15, 2023. The event will be co-located with the International EASE Fall School on Cognitive Robotics https://ease-crc.org/fall-school-2023/. Submission Guidelines ----------------------------------------------- All submissions must be written in English and must be formatted according to the information for CEUR. All papers must present original work that is not currently under review. We welcome the following types of contributions: + Full research papers (8 to 14 pages) + Short research papers (4 to 7 pages) + Extended abstracts of recently published journal papers (1 to 2 pages) Submission link: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=aic2023 Important Dates ----------------------------------------------- + Full research/short paper and extended abstract: ++ June 16th, 2023: Abstract submission ++ June 30th, 2023: Paper submissions ++ July 14th, 2023: Notification of acceptance List of Topics ----------------------------------------------- + Knowledge Representation and Cognition (e.g. Neural Networks models, Conceptual Spaces, Ontologies, and representation of common sense) + Cognitive Architectures (e.g. SOAR, ACT-R) and Cognitive modelling for Artificial Systems + B.I.C.A.
